My eye caught a dark form lying on the river bottom. It took me a few moments to comprehend what I had stumbled upon. Lying peacefully in the shallow waters of the river, only a few meters from shore, was a full-grown cougar. The contrast between the serenity of the scene I was witnessing and what must have played out here in the cougar’s final moments made me shiver. It was the first shiver of many, as I stripped down and waded out into the icy water to get this shot. x

not cute ass sweets, which are a whole other world I could get into… but food.
living with a host family, I get home cooked meals everyday if I make it home by 7:30. Let me tell you, this woman can THROW DOWN!
I have yet to not love what she has made.
well except うどん (but to be fair, I never liked it) and even then, she made it edible.
A meal that can fill you up, and I mean for the rest of the day, not that MSG shit that America passes off as Asian food (no monsanto, no worries!) will run you abour $5.00. tops. one of the pictures has a receipt which roughly translate to $4.95 and the included miso soup as well.
Japan is down right DESTROYING the food game. I could literrally eat here forever.
There are some weird things here tho, apparently, this country is big on the slimy texture, youll be hard pressed to find crispy bacon or brown toast, and things like that. Im guessing breakfast is not their strong suit. but it they keep feeding me bomb ass ramen (tastes NOTHING like top ramen) and 牛丼 i will never leave.
sidenote: we found an indian resturant here too, butter chicken is good as shit. and they served endless naan. whatttttT?
